DC Energy engages in direct counterparty transactions with creditworthy trading partners in the utility and finance sectors. As a result of our expertise and scale, we have become a preferred counterparty for transactions involving transport and related risks, ranging from next-hour price fluctuations to next-year locational or temporal swaps and spreads. We are able to provide granular liquidity and hedging products to meet the needs of physical market participants.

Our standard and tailored products are available to counterparties directly and through industry brokers such as GFI Group Inc, Amerex Brokers (including Energy Match), Prebon Energy, and ICAP.

DC Energy has direct ISDA and credit relationships with creditworthy counterparties; additionally, we make extensive use of central party clearing to address credit requirements. We trade cleared products through NYMEX, ICE, and Nodal Exchange. As the exchanges have expanded their coverage of nodal and zonal contracts, they have become increasingly attractive platforms for hedging products.
